Do you use an online giftlist service?

Just wondered how many people sign up for them and buy presents online from peoples lists?

  • I've used them in the past when people have had an online list for weddings (Debenhams and John Lewis I think) and not had any problems - gift's have been delivered to the happy couple safely.

My mum, brother and sister all have amazon wish lists.

I ended up using my brothers last month for his b-day as i didn't see anything in my travels i thought he would like.

He also lives in Manchester which granted isn't that far from Leeds but in the opposite direction from g/f and parents and he doesn't go to my parents on these occasions to collect gifts being non driver. Amazon delivered to his door.

Sister and mum both got presents from trips I have been on.

Xmas will be done from trips and maybe a meadowhell visit and then if I strike out the wish lists will be used.

You'll get what I decide and like the thought I have put into it!

I've never thought of using them for birthdays and christmas tbh

I tend to just buy gifts I think others will like and I'd feel a bit rude putting together a wish list of my own for my birthday for others to purchase from - not really my style

I have a little girl who has 4 sets of GrandParents ( long story) so we used www.whattogive.com for bdays / xmas. Works very well for us as its means Daisy doesn't get duplicates or things she doesn't need.
