What does your mother have to say?0

does the fact that i wasnt living at the address since 2006 make any difference? (not sure when the overdraft was taken out but i guess its since then)
my mum hasent said alot - shes avoiding me iv told my dad and he wants me to let him know what i find out to do with this.
i know that it was mum for certain shes got all information to do with the account...my credit file showed me as gone away but my mum moved so i guess shes left the account. iv put my address on the letter iv sent.
it is sooo wrong as i do not have any debts apart from ones my mum has ran up in my name....i think the fact that she is my mum has made this very hard to cope with.
sorry to babble
thanks everyone

the man at the bank said the second i say for sure its fraud they will prosocute and if i didnt want to report her then iv got to take responsibility for the debt. he told me to think about it then get in contact with them.
thats been the part thats torn me....its not just the money its the hurt and betrayal. (sp?)

hi
Hi
just read through everything and I have to say that I am really shocked that someones mum can do this. it's obviously your call on what you do next but the fact that in an earlier post you said she's avoiding you speaks volumes. Shes absolutely betrayed you. Wheres her heartfelt apology, the money for you to pay it back. I dont mean to sound harsh but as your mum has obviously only been thinking of only herself so why should you give her and consideration now. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
Hi,
do you want your mom to be prosecuted - knowing that you relationship will never fully recover if at all. Your parents relationship may also be put to the limits. Its totally your choice but even if my mom did that i couldnt have her prosecuted. xxxO/S Debt: PL £[STRIKE]15207.34[/STRIKE] £9884.55; HSBC £4060.99; Tesco£1430.15; M&S £5990.17; Virgin [STRIKE]£5158.69[/STRIKE] £4210.14; Egg £4619.00; O/S = ££30,292.42 AIM - To Be Debt Free 56 months0 -
p-pincher - dont worry you dont sound harsh you are just speaking the truth.
i have been shocked at her behaviour - my aunty said she is ashamed of what shes done...i think she might be but a apology would be a start.
beauty - you are asking the question i have asked myself a million times over.
i honestly dont know what my next step is iv sent a sar request to the bank and i will await their reply.
thank you for everything everyone
