I am looking to pay as little as possible for a netbook.
I only really do the following:-
Go on facebook
Search for good deals on here & HUKD
Shopping
General Surfing
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

£130 gets you a 'reconditioned' Acer Aspire One A110-AW. It got pretty good reviews when it was originally released, but the current cream of the crop are substantially more versatile. Unfortunately, they also cost considerably more.
How much are you willing to spend?0 -
I am just back from Asda where they are selling this for £197 instore...it's a couple of quid cheaper online. Must admit I am tempted - does anyone know if it's any good?

I was tempted too when I first clapped eyes on some pictures of the thing, but since it apparently comes with only a 3-cell battery it's not likely to last very long away from a power outlet. Then again, that's true of most netbooks at this price point.cheap_charlie wrote: »Must admit I am tempted - does anyone know if it's any good?
Wait... are you sure it's an Archos 10s that's being advertised? The picture I found here appears to show an Archos 10.0 -
It was definitely the 10s - I am one of those saddos who sees these things and write the name down so I can check it out when I get home...!
The battery does seem to be a problem but I have a Samsung netbook that is 3 years old and cost an absolute fortune and the battery lasts an hour if I am lucky...so I am used to that.0 -
