Barclays 10% regular savings acc

Just noticed that Barclays have stamped 02/05/2006 as the SO credit date in my regular savings. Orginally this was set up to be credited on the 1st of every month. I know that 01/05/2006 was a bank holiday so I suppose this should not have any effect?

I also asked for a SO date of 1st of each month - in fact the man in the branch filled in the form for me to sign and entered it in front of me - but when I checked it was slated down for 2nd May.

Does anyone know on which days SOs (from Barclays current a/c) do/do not pass through the internal system?

I also noticed that my Barclays SO for May was dated the 2nd, even though I specified the 1st on my SO. As it is an internal transfer, it is a bit annoying. In April, when the 1st fell on a Saturday, my SO went in on that day and was dated the 1st.

My Halifax RS May payment went in on the 1st and is dated accordingly.
