I've been told that Butlins only keep the 4 berth accommodation for these promotions as I've never been able to book for 5 of us. Mind you my friend booked for 4 and ended up in silver grade with spare room without paying any upgrades!
I booked once for the four of us planning to phone up and upgrade and add my no 5 to the booking but there was no availability so that scuppered me. We 'smuggled' the toddler in (well she just sat in the car really nobody looked at our booking) but I spent the weekend paranoid we were going to be found out and hated every minute so won't try that again!!

Your postcard should say PRIORITY BOOKING INVITATION and then have a code which should look like: xxxxxxx/xxx

The reference number should be: 7 digits/3 digits
It would be at the bottom of the postcard on the side that has your address printed.

you need the sun reference number (in the grey rectangle) near the botoom of the postcard.
