Changes to payment days

I am aware of the changes coming to payment days for those in receipt of IS etc. However when first this was mentioned I am sure I read on here that if you felt it would cause problems and had a good enough reason then you could ask for the changes not to go ahead and it mentioned about people with disablilites.
Can anyone shed any light on where i might have seen this information on this site as i feel i will have to ask for the changes not to go ahead due to my husbands illnesses etc its hard eenough to cope without the budget problems as well.
thanks in advance

you may be confusing the recent changes in dla payments, which for new applications or after review are is not now paid with other benefits(e.g. IS or IB)but as a seperate payment usually monthly, this can be requested as a weekly payment if it would cause financial hardship.
As for the new fortnightly payments of IS this cant be changed but you can request a interest free loan to be repaid over 6 weeks of the change,it may take upto 2 years for everyone to be moved across to fortnightly payments.0
