Hi
We moved into our rented house 7 months ago on a 6month AST. It has now gone over on to a rolling tenancy. The letting agents have just informed us that we can sign a new tenancy for 6 or 12 months if we like. As I don't feel terribley secure here, can someone tell me if its better in our interests to sign a new agreement, stay on a rolling contract, or does it make no difference to our long term security?
I can also add that the agent said the landlords have no wish to take their house back, they are quite happy to leave it being rented.
Thanks

i would just stay on a rolling contract and dont sign any further agreements. this means you can give one months notice at any time (as long as it ends on rent day)0
