The PM option is missing from our Profile view. Is that what they mean?

Not too sure, but I know that is the case if I want to PM, say, Glad but I assume that means she has the PMs not enabled?

Could just be that Sofa accidentally blocked everybody and that was it for that one..... will keep an eye and see if anyone else reports problems. :o

I just pop in now and then.... :)

    Beggar off, Sofa...............

    And leave you to it?

mandi  You haven't understood one word of what's been said in PM or on the board have you?

I'll leave you to the BG's. They'll understand all the mystique

Oh that happens all the time :D

    I didn't edit it.

When you're a BG it's very easy to accidentally click Edit instead of Quote - I see the Edit button beside every post on this board, not just my own

    I don't know why I don't believe you now sra ...

    .... but I don't

At the moment it appears that the only way to pm people is to find post on the board, then use the drop down menu by clicking on their name and if they have pm's enabled you can click on pm this user.

Hopefully this will be something that will be changed and we can go back to finding the pm facility when clicking on a user's profile.

Sofa_Sogood, sra is telling you the truth regarding the edit button and the quote button for him as BG on this board, you may not believe other users of MSE but please don't put sra down in this manner.

Usually when an edit is done by a BG there is something obvious there as the edit/note,when done accidentally ,maybe a short note to say so would stop any confusion............but it can happen SS ,any problems with sorting your PMs ,give me a shout

I'm sure sra can speak for himself Edinburghlass, but it might be less confusing if non BG's knew that BG's could edit each others posts.

Sincere apologies sra - I've never questioned your integrity before - ever. Maybe you can see why I did in this instance? I didn't know how the system worked for BG's.

The rules, powers and permissions of Board Guides - Not my decision as to what to tell you we can and can't do.

    Ask admin

I probably say wayyy too much already
I'm sure sra can speak for himself
Against what people think of a virtual identity?
    Life's too short.

    Rare for me to do

As has been said several times, BGs are no different to any other member of the board other than they can edit / delete / move etc on their "own" boards (i.e. the board they BG for)

So this means if I post something here then sra can edit or delete or move it, and ditto if he posted something in the Arms.

As for special powers, we dont have any although sometimes I would love to have Wonder Woman's lassoo of truth :D

I just pop in now and then.... :)
