Whats the best way to promote ebay shop?

I’m planning to start an ebay shop and was wondering what is the best way to promote my shop. For instance can I have a domain name for my shop. I assume that most casual ebayers don’t really pay that much attention in the shops section that’s why I need to think of a way to attract more customers, but at the moment I don’t know how should I go about doing this.

I've got a shop, just for a month or two to shift some stock so I'm not an expert. I usually list in the main auctions every night and put a note in my auction that the same or similar items are available for imeediate purchase in my shop. That way people that browse my auctions see that I have an ebay shop as well.

Once you register your shop ebay do give you some tips about promotion.

I sold over 50 things in my first few days of having a shop, but it is slowing down now as I am running out of things to sell.

Also you can change the automatic emails that ebay and paypal send to your buyers when they win, so you can put your ebay shop url in there. I also have mine as a signature at the bottom of all my emails, so even if someone asks me a question about an item it will have my shop url there too, you can even include it in the packaging slip when items are sent.
