Thought i would keep everyone updated here as im really nervous about my first purchase ever! Hopefully if i do something wrong someone will point it out to me?!
I've now viewed 2 houses on the same street, they have the same lovely extension and there really is nothing in it. Either house is perfect for me and my partner. Vendor 1 has 2 kids and a hubby that wants a new project to work on, they havent currently found anywhere they want to make an offer on. I prefer there house slightly more as it will mean less decoration on moving in.
Vendor 2 needs to move up north to follow a job and needs to do so quickly. The lady is heavily pregnant too and already has 1 child.
Today im making an offer for house 1. as they are both with the same EA and only a matter of 10 doors away from each other they are well aware of the competition they face. I will go in with my only offer which is 10k under a fairly reasonable asking price. If they reject i will go in with the same offer for house 2.
They are both aware im a FTB and they know i am willing to give them some time to find a place they can rent/buy.
Lets hope it works!
