It's raining it's pouring the old man is nearly snoring :D I love a good bit of rain I do.

A friend of mine brought her son a new xbox 360 earlier in the week (more money than sense maybe?) as his old one had died and it was 4 years old and not worth repairing (errmm....ok)...DH asked if he could take it from her bin and "tinker"....it's now working fine! On the back of that we took the DS lite we had going spare (DD2 won a new one) into a local little games shop and managed to swap it for a few games and a controller :j

Sammy - that's one seriously cute baby, I'm very broody.

I use low-tack masking tape to cut in - I'm hopeless without it.

I need to start decorating my bedroom now the terrible twosome's bedrooms are almost done. Before we decorated it for Ryan, it had wallpaper and a border, so we just painted over it (the wallpaper was just patterned, not raised) and put a new border on. Taking the border off will damage the wallpaper underneath, and if I strip the whole lot, it will need reskimming before painting, which I can't afford.

So I think I am going to paint the whole room cream, and then paint the border brown - do you think a pale beige, so it's all very neutral and muted, or a dark brown so the border stands out?

I like plain paint on plain walls - not very good at visualising anything other than that, lol!

She is lightning quick at 'cutting-in', but shes got one of these slash-cut sort of brushes. Really soft, fine bristles and hold loads of paint but release it smoothly so she gets a good straight line.
Having said that, it cant be all because of the brush cos it doesnt work for me! ( but the last time I used it I was having a knee-trembler on the banister rail trying to reach the top of the stair-well....the ONLY bit of the house she lets me paint)....:T

Afternoon/Evening all. Been at the hospital today and mucho relieved that I don't have cancer and have in fact been discharged from the gastroenterology guys... though I wasn't happy to find out that I've GAINED 6lb:mad::mad::mad:. I thought breastfeeding mothers were supposed to lose it dead easy:confused: and if I diet then Evie gets very cranky and she doesn't gain weight... Bring on weaning and in a couple of months I'll be able to start a radical crash diet and lose loads of weight
