Maplins double charge Warning

I bought some stuff from Maplins on Wednesday 26th Aug and paid by debit card. Checking my account online today the charge has been
taken from my account twice. Went in to the store and "its a nationwide problem and will credit back to my account".
I had only spent £15 and so have no problem with going overdrawn,
but if you have bought a high value item it may be different. Im not sure if it affects credit cards but double check your statements etc should any bank charges be brought when its not your fault.
