Someone else is using my ebay account!

Hi
I just got 4 emails in my hotmail account from ebay saying i had won 4 items that i haven't ordered. I logged onto ebay and there they were. All of which have been paid for (not by me as i've checked). I went back onto hotmail and the emails have been deleted, now on ebay there is no evidence the items have been bought apart from one guy has given me positive feedback.
I have emailed ebay and asked them to suspend my account and i've changed all my passwords but i am guessing until the log out they can still do what they like!
Can anyone think of anything else i can do to secure my accounts? Its a bit worrying!
Jim

Change your paypal account details as well. Also check your security on your PC. If you have a windows machine do virus scans, Ad/malware scans. Check your firewall as well.0

Cheers i'll do that, i've got no paypal account so not worried about that and the only credit card i've used on ebay, i've just cancelled. I am wondering how its happened, i've got a phone number of the guy whose doing it(before he deleted the evidence i found details of the address and phone number where the item was to be sent) so i am toying with giving him a ring and yelling at him! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Message the sellers maybe, and explain what's happened to the account. As cyberbob says, scan everything (oh and clear your browser- cookies and cache, just in case.)This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

Cheers i'll do that as well. Its just so annoying! I've messaged all the sellers but they are not getting back to me. Its such random things he's bought as well, a set of drums and 85 britvic water filters! As long as it doesn't cost me any cash i'm not too worried but still its a bit of a pain! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. That's what I never understand either? This is a strange sort of revenge where the only people that get penalised are self employed cab owners and pizza places where some will dock the wages of the delivery boy if he can't collect the money.
So, person A gets stung and takes it out on an inoccent third party and that somehow is revenge?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Could somebody have accessed your Hotmail & ebay accounts from a shared PC that you did not log off from? To delete e-mails they would have to have access to the account.
Good luck.Marching On Together

Stupidly they both have the same shared password, and the accounts are linked. I think i've sorted it now though as since i've changed the passwords on both accounts nothing is being deleted. In fact I am toying with getting the drum kit sent to me
