Hello,
I am considering going to Disneyland Paris from Paris Beauvais airport. I am aware this is out the way but need to go straight to Disneyland as we would only have 1full day in Paris. Our ryanair flight lands at 9.15...is there any chance we could get across to Disneyland for 12am and if so how? I reckon there is not much point going there if we get there any later. Also is their any lockers you know of as we will be bringing out overnight case with us. Also does anybody know what the nightlife for 20yo is like in Paris? And what night are good?
Your help is muchos appreicated.

You'll probably get there at 12.00. Allowing 30mins from when you land to when the coach actually departs, 1hr to Porte Maillot, metro to Etoile 10mins (if you just miss one), 45mins RER A to Marne La Vallee. The big variable is the coach trip, what day are you arriving. If it's a Mon, Tue, Thur or Fri it is much busier and if it's raining, welcome to a massive French Car Park that's usually a motorway!
Paris is the same as any other capital city for nightlife. Pick up a copy of Time Out for club listings or there are others on the news stands. Can't give any recommendations as I'm usually out of the city by 01.00.
Have fun!0 -
Thanks Peter...its a Friday or a Saturday we are arriving, what day is best. Have you been to D'land Paris...do you think 2 20yo will like it...also do you think we will have time to do everything between 12-8(when it shuts??)-we are going in Mid-June. We could go in a weekday however, if the park and road os quiter then. We are looking for a great nightlife scene and if its quiet/not so fun on a certain night of the week then let me know...its important we have fun at night(I ow my friend the BEST night in her life: for giving her the WORST recently). Thanks for your help and come back to me with your reccommendations.0

Is there anyway that you can go to Charles de Gaulle airport instead - you are going top spend/waste so much time travelling otherwise, instead of getting straigt on the TGV or Disney bus and getting there within the hour!
Some of the BA or Air france flights aren't too dear if you go really, really early!!
On a Saturday - you will spend most of your time watching the french queue jump. Try and go during the week in french term-time - a lot quieter then and you might actually go on a few rides - lol.
Go to the St Germaine area for nightlife - some great clubs, restaurants and bars.Noli nothis permittere te terere

Thanks for this elisebutt. I will look into flying to CGD however not only is ryanair so cheap but it is right next door, where as ill have to go further to get a BA/Air France flight to CDG.
When and where and how is best to find a cheap deal flight to CDG???
Also what nights are good in out in Paris??0 -
Well I went with BF so we went mostly to restaurants and bars, rather than clubbing. There were some lovely boat rides - baton Mouches- where you could have dinner along the Seine that looked noce but we didn't get time to do one of those - we just did a day-trip one.
We went mid-week and it was busy everywhere, every night!!!
Have a look on this site for the cheap flights search thingy - where are you based for airports??Noli nothis permittere te terere

Thanks for this gain elisebutt. So can anybody reccommend a weeknight that is particulary busy and more lively than other weeknights and places to go to possibily. We like busy, trendy young crowd places if that helps. & tell me more about this river cruise. How far is this river from the eiffel tower. It would be great if we could do it at night and use it to get to somewhere.0

In February we went to Disney, via Beauvais. We booked a private shuttle with Transerial for 4 of us for about 135 euros each way. We were at our hotel at Disney within 1 1/2 hours from touchdown at Beauvais. The service was excellent , and we weren't tired when we got there. Our friends arrived at Beauvais on a flight at around 9.30, and using the same shuttle service, we met them in the park before 11.30. They'd had time to drop off their luggage by then. The shuttle might be a bit pricey for less than 4, but if time is in short supply, it's definitely worth it.
We went Thurs to Monday. Sunday was the busiest day by far. The quietest days were Thursday and Friday.
There's a good route planner on the RATP site.
Also if your thinking of buying a travel card, don't bother with The Paris Visite card, use the Mobilis card instead0 -
Thanks Jazzy B, time is inmportant but for just the two of us and at that price i think the money could be better spent, however if it is going to take to long using public transport then this may be trouble. Like i said, hopefully go on a weekday and if get there 12 and stay till 8pm, hope to get all we want to do done for then. Thanks for the info...0

Hi pbright. I've been to Disneyland Paris and I'd say it was better for families than young adults. It depends on what you're looking for of course ... there were lots of rides for children but hardly any aimed at adults, I thought. There were very few places serving alcohol. I think you could only buy it at a couple of the more expensive eating places. However, if you fancy regressing to childhood for a day it could be fun, especially if you like that jolly Disney atmosphere.
I think if I was your age and didn't have much time, I'd probably spend the whole time in Paris. I haven't experienced the nightlife but there's no end of other things to do, depending on your interests.0 -
Thanks Kyss. I expect it wont be our kind of park, but i still love Disneyland and i see they have some cool rides like spacemountain, star tours, the log flume one(whats it called?). + thats why we wont even be there for the full day because i know we dont want to do all the kid stuff. & we do not care that we cant get alcohol there
. Im just curious about time though, i dont want to get ther after 12(we are coming straight from Beavais via a Paris i think it would need to be?) as it might not leave us to much time to everything..what do you think? 0
