:hello: dollparts. It's ok, I know exactly what you mean, infact DH gave me a ticking off for telling his mother.
I'm finding it difficult to keep my business my business with her because she knows i'm very polite, open and honest about my situation and I know she uses this to find out the juicy gossip - stuff that she can't wheddle out of her son.
I have been burnt again twice today with people's opinions mainly my lovely sister who has been over. One wondering how I have the car when DH is 'supposed to have it for work as you've told the bankruptcy people' I had great pleasure in telling her that over the course of today I would have driven 80 miles to get him to and from work just so I could have the use of the car to get my little girl her injection.
Then again when she saw a mcdonalds glass in my cupboard.. 'should we be going to mcdonalds when we don't have enough money to give payments to the people we owe money too' meaning no surplus for IPA
This is the first time I've seen my sister since the last time, she came to my home and asked me questions on whether we had to pay anything back.. I told her the outcome of oR interview.. studid, yes, ignoring her, yes, telling anyone anything again, no, it's now non of their business, I won't be bringing any of it up again and will shoot anyone down who tries to turn the conversation round or dares make a comment on how I spend the bit money I have.
I'm getting the keys on Saturday for our new house, closing the curtains and living in my own little happy family, anyone wants to visit are quite welcome but they will learn to keep their gobs shut, something i'm also going to have to learn to do!0 -
"forced" to live off £30 per week? Because she saved for a "rainy day", like many others in the UK have/do? Hasn't she noticed then that her rainy day has come???? This country has a system, it may not be great but it works on the whole and she is using it.
Tell your family to eff off. McDonalds now..... for goodness sake. How dare you woman. Be off with you and learn to be a hermit....!! LOL!0 -
