2 days till puppy arrives-some questions

It's 2 days to go until my little puppy arrives, our dog is 9 years old so its been a while since we've had a pup. We have bed, collar and lead, bowls, plenty of newspapers, safety gate amd food. Have I missed anything? How long should we leave it before taking her to the vets to be checked, as I think it would be too stressful to take her right away, she got her first set of vaccinations today.

vets immediately, it wont be too stressful for him, just another experience, and you need him checked over as soon as you get him.0
