DVD to Audio CD

I have few home made DVD that i will like to copy to audio cds.

How could i do that? and is there any software needed?

If you put "DVD audio ripper" into your favourite search engine, you'll find loads. There seem to be some free ones such as this one:

Just rip to .wav format and then burn to CD as normal.

[Edit: correction - I'm told that it's not as "free" as the name would suggest!]

If it is less than five DVDs, you can use Magic DVD Ripper.

If you dig a little further, you'll find that this "Free DVD Ripper" (made by Aimersoft) actually costs $35.95.

Thanks TF and apologies to the OP - it seems to be increasingly difficult to tell whether "free" software is actually free until you've downloaded it and tried to use it - at which point you get the familiar "you need to register to use this feature" popup.

It's one reason why I try to stick to Open Source free software - because it almost always is free - but that's not so easy if you're using Windows.

Would HandBrake do the trick? If these are indeed home videos rather than commercial releases encrypted with CSS you shouldn't need anything else.
