virginmedia mis-selling?

was a loyal virginmedia (and ntl before that)customer had phone line internet and tv with them.had to move house.wasnt in a cabled area but was told i could have broadband down phone line, happy about that but said i couldnt afford B.T.line installation £122.50.was told virgin would pay how generous! just send bill in to them.waited for sales to contact me to sign up never happened so i rang them signed up.moved house,B.T.installed line got bill rang virgin to ask where to send bill only to be met with"impossible!virgin would never do that!"many phone calls same response actually spoke with someone in moving department who said they knew who i had spoken to and she was being dealt with because she was wrong to offer me that.sent a written complaint 4 july recorded delivery never been acknowledged.fed up waiting read virgin code of practice decided to ring again spoke to a manager who now says they WERE offering to pay B.T. at the time but no other department knew of it and since i had not waited for sales to ring me and i didnt get my broadband with virgin they were not going to reimburse me!when i told this lady i had cancelled the broadband after they said they were not going to pay the bill she basically said tough!oh i was also told richard branson is only a shareholder and wouldnt be bothered by my complaint!
