Why does everyone seem to wanna sue everyone else these days?
Does anyone accept responsibility for anything?0 -
I was at MMU too, until personal reasons forced my back home, travel to Coventry now, not exactly close either. Good luck with the sueing business, if i only had guts and money to sue the university.Death smiles at us all, all a man can do is smile back.0

I'd say it takes more guts to walk away and put things down to experience and move on.0

Just run, run and keep on running!0

Meh, next you'll tell me they've turned Bury College into a university. It must be cheap as hell to rent a place around Bolton.
I miss the north0 -

Well i now live in north london (rather than my original Bury) - I could buy half a row of terrace houses for the cost of a decent pint here0

Is it to do with the AUT strike? Our uni had a meeting about it yesterday and we were told that it is possible to sue the university for breach of contract as they aren't providing a proper service. Around the country, firms of solicitors are visiting universities encouraging the students to sue.
I do a Law degree, and I'm almost sure you can sue universities generally, although don't take my word for it. It obviously depends on what you're suing them for!0
