Thanks
Actually my complaint then could well be with the system itself rather than the Halifax, being new to mortgages i have a total lack of understanding just how disorganised and poor the system could be.
Do I have any cover if someone now makes and offer with a mortgage offer in place on the property? Is the system capable of such eventualities?0 -
In regard to credit check with Equifax or Experian this should normally be extremely quick as they have authorised access on line for immediate checks. You can check yourself if you go on line with Experian and see if it shows that they have carried out a search and on what date. With Experian you can sign up for a free 30 day trial "I think". http://www.creditexpert.co.uk0
