James Wellbeloved short dated £5.14 for 2kg

hi, not sure if this is in the right place but at vet uk they are selling James Wellbeloved kitten food (lamb & rice) for £5.14 for a 2kg bag, it is short dated (18th sept). i have no idea how this would affect the quality but it seems like a bargain if it's something you buy anyway.:D

I don't think it would make any difference. Best before doesn't mean it's going to go off, just that at some point in the future (year or two) it may lose something in terms of taste or nutrients. It's not going to do your pet a mischief, and will be used up quickly enough that no-one's going to notice any difference. I wouldn't have any hesitation in buying it, if it were my usual 15kg bag.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
