changed my supplier when i moved home from n power and paid the final bill for gas & electricity (which for some reason they sent separately despite all interim bills being joint)

phoned up and paid with debit card asked person on the phone how much final bill (amount to be charged to card)was which he told me and gave him details

he then told me account was clear and to be closed

turns out they only took the gas payment and have since had letter saying basically account finished and did i want to take them to nexw address kind of thing (seemed a standard letter rather than account specific)

anyway since then not heard anything else and that was at least a couple of weeks ago

is i possible they have closed the account down and not realised they have not taken all the money?

i doubt very much i am that lucky:rotfl:

You could be. They sent me a cheque for £192 earlier this year after I closed my account. It seems they were giving me some money for being a dual fuel customer even though I was closing everything. The amusing thing was that I was on a pre payment meter but they sent me a statement showing £150 credit made by n power.

So chap, you never know your luck :-)

i would just like to say i am not that lucky after THREE MONTHS WITHOUT A WORD!!!!! they sent a letter saying they were going to charge me £7 for not providing a forwarding address (which they sent to my forwarding address) and if i didnt pay the outstanding amount they would take me to court

suffice to say a few choice words were had!!
