Anyone used Motorpoint ?

Hiya - has anyone bought a car through Motorpoint Burnley - they do seem cheap - what's the catch ??? Thank You

I have bought from them although my Car came from Newport. My two brothers have also bought from them too.

The answer is that they are a mixed bag. They sell a mixture of pre registered, imported and ex fleet cars. The deals are fantastic but the service isn't always.

My brothers both had no problems at all with them and their Cars were spot on. I had a few issues though as my Car came with missing service history and hadn't been valated properly, despite me paying extra for it. I also discovered on the way home that the washer bottles didn't work and on ringing them the next day they didn't give two hoots.

Their finance is also quite expensive.

Overall I would say give it a go but be wary and try and see the Car if you can.

yeah, my Girlfriend was going to get a car from there, but they didn't seem to be bothered about selling her one, and the salesperson was a patronising <cough>, we have a little joke now everytime we drive past the place, and are probably glad that she didn't get a car from there....

ideally, you could look for ex-police cars (like i've got), come complete with total service history. even when light bulbs have to be changed. got a ford focus 03 (TDdi), 98,000 miles for £1995 cash), they need some TLC, but i've just got 670miles out of a full tank of diesel
