Tesco promotion codes (merged)

I have just been shopping around for car insurance renewal. Current provider has gone up 27%. They reckon it's due to a re-classification of post code????
Totally confused as not a high crime area.
Managed to get a quote via Tesco that isn't too bad.
On the form they have an area for a code & I was wondering if I had one would it give me a further reduction. Anybody got anything.

Get your life insurance or mortgage insurance from TESCO and they will give you 4500 free points on your club card = £45.00 they also have a price promise as well. Great Value.

Couldnt see any reference to a price promise.

If there was, you could pay a fiver to a friendly IFA to arrange a zero commision life assurance quote which would be cheaper than Tesco. ;)

they have a price promise but you dont even have to go that far you can collect your points after the first payment and then cancel your DD and cancel the policy.

If you are an existing customer then you get 5000 points
