bank charge reclaim date 27th July 07, is my claim still on hold?

I put in my second claim against Halifax for £1500, ( the first for £2400 on a previous account was a success, ) and sent it to the online court service in July 07. My claim is therefore dated July 27th 2007, before some of them were stopped around 10th aug. I have written many times to the bank but to no avail. As this site has people who know more than I do about it, I wondered if I have any chance of getting the claim heard (as I do not class as a 'hardship' case) before the final decision is reached in court.
Also I would appreciate any help with the following: I have since accrued charges on the account I'm claiming for, could I add them to the final amount or would it be safer to stick with the original £1500 claim?
Any help would be much appreciated.:o

You wouldnt have any hope of having your case heard in court at the moment I'm afraid.
I would check with the court that your claim is still 'stayed' and active. I would also prepare an updated schedule of charges with the new charges incurred since you first entered your claim, and update the statutory 8% interest to get your new total. 2 years it will have risen a fair bit. I'd send that to the bank to update them and remind them you are still at court (quote your claim number) and tell them once the test case is concluded you shall be updating your claim to show the new figures.LegalBeagles0
