we've got an unjustified fine and wonder if trafficbuster.co.uk mentioned on the moneysaving site is any good as they require payment of £9.99 to deal with things.
any tips appreciated but basically we got a ticket from the warden even though it was not in penalty time as partner was giving a quote in the shop in front of the car and had 5 mns to go on the machine. thanks

So did the warden give any reason for giving you the ticket? If you feel that you can win an appeal then you should go for itWeight Loss - 102lb0

Why do you think it was unjustified? Or do you think it was an incorrectly issued PCN as you were not contravening the appropriate Parking Regulations applicable to where, when and how you parked?
If the later then appeal against the ticket and normally if there is any doubt the Parking adjudicator will find against the PCN issuer. However, if the former applies then you will probably need to go to court to try and argue your case as the Parking Adjudicator will not generally consider arguments where the motorist has clearly flouted/ignored the Regulations.0 -
It is a shame we were not able to take a photo of the traffic warden and the
meter at the time to prove our point even though the client my partner
visited could vouch for it at the time (there are some dishonest traffic
wardens). as the fine - even though we have appealed - has gone from £50 to
£150 now (they dont seem to be reading our letters) . i wonder whether we
should just pay at least £50 for all of the hassle but partner says that it
may be admitting to the truth. I really just want the end of this story now.
thanks in advance.0
