Is it cheaper to run an elecric cooker or a gas cooker? Are there any other benefits by using one or the other?

Are you looking at the long or short term? As gas is a limited resource and we're starting to rely more and more on Russia and other countries on the Eurasian continent for our supply, gas can only get more expensive. The UK supply of natural gas, like many of our fossil fuels is rapidly running out.
