    morning all...well despite wine and nitol hardly slept with things whirring...feel ok but have a sore throat from all the talking!! Have got people for tea tonight so will have a bit of cooking therapy - I sence a nice pudding coming on!! Will have a snooze this pm but generally a quiet day with some knitting! Didnt get any done last night!

    not much to report...a cheapish few days with church classical/orchestral concert on sat which was lovely but felt wiped out by sun so misses the carols by candlelight as didnt have the emotional energy...been feeling bleugh again which when you think logically not a huge surprise but just feels awful. Forced myself to get tree (fake, cheap and with no needles) and iskoe been having great fun killing it! As adept at removing baubals as she is at pilfing wool lol! Managed to put a whole bottle of (thakfully white) wine on carpet and in handbag!! what a waste!! on that note of off bed I go...

    aww thanks beanie - you too! Still love your Austin quote - makes me chucckle every time! Pressies all wrapped; merangue and creme brulee made so santa just has to pack his sleigh and with the help of a little fat elf do some local deliveries! Spoke to goddaughters today who have been very over excited and not that good so their mummy threatened to cancel the event!! Strangely they started to behave!!
