Aside from the rain it's been silly warm here and I've only just closed all the windows and doors....how daft that it can be so different accross the country.
Had the builders in this morning - they took up the floor - found the leak - the toilet soil pipe had cracked...but typically it had cracked under the concrete....cue much digging, lots of very smelly gack and no loo for 7 hours!!! Plumbers got it sorted in the end, now have no joists, no floor and the builders have to wait for the insurance company to agree the rest of the works!
It's times like this when I really do appreciate living in a rented house, I've not had to do a thing (aside from cross my legs)
Ohhh and heating doesn't go on til November 1st in this house - no excuses...I'm hard I am."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
