We have a couple of small/portable teletext-enabled TVs in need of new indoor ariels to improve reception. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Preferably for ariels that don't need a power supply (e.g. battery or wall socket power) and not too pricey!! Many thanks everyone.

I've always been of the view that set top aerials are much of a muchness, suggest you try a couple from Argos as you can take them back if no good.
You may get as good results from a length of coax connected to an old wire coat hanger.
Seriously if you fit a proper aerial in the loft you will get much better results.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Cheers penrhyn. We have static TVs in the house connected to a loft ariel. This post was purely about the portables. I'll take your advice and see what Argos have to offer.
