I get Eve Magazine (via tesco clubcard vouchers- wouldn't PAY £3 for it) some of the articles are quite good, like how you could downsize your lifestyle, grow your own veg etc, but then on the next few pages there are fashion articles where some of the clothes are £1000's!!! It kind of contradicts itself! Oh and then Jay Hunt (the lady off Spendaholics) has her own page of different clothes, and they are all really pricey too! The people they feature in it are really high flying too (lawyers, doctors, stockbrokers etc) you never see anyone with an averagely paid job.....sometimes these mags make you feel depressed as it gives the impression that your lifestyle is not good enough if you are the norm!
