Tesco info to be found on my thread here, would appreciate anyones input. It is a thread meant for the people on Grabit but has been moved by the mods, but it did get a quick few responses when it was in this section:

Sorry to sound thick. New to clubcard, but how many Legoland vouchers would 1000 points get me??

    Yep, back to Tesco.

There is currently 1000 extra clubcard points with all their TVs.

Cheapest TV is a Toshiba 14N51B 14'' Portable TV with Teletext - (Silver) for £59.99.

If you buy it you will get 1059 clubcard points.

With the clubcard offers this is worth £42.36.

    £59.99-£42.36=£17.63

BARGAIN THAT ENDS ON SUNDAY 14th MAY 2006.

    Hi Folks

Could you buy more than one and get 1000 points for each one on the same account?

Please remember to log in first to whatever cashback site you are a member of. (If you're not, do a search on the forums for "cashback" to get an idea.)

For example, shopping at Tesco.com through Quidco you would get 3% cashback, through Rpoints 2% or through Cashbag 1%.

So potentially this tv could work out at £16.20!

I know it's not HD ready but we only want a cheapy telly as a stopgap and are going to make a big purchase at MFI anyway.

What do you mean by HD?

High Definition TV. Some whizzy new format. I think it will be standard in a few years' time.
