I live in the south east area, just outside London and have been trying to find a place in either s e london or kent that sells crazy paving, or somewhere online which delivers. Any information would be great.

    Crazy Paving.. Eek!

Can't you make your own from old slabs, just break them up into bits? Could try your local tip?

most councils sell it off cheap. due to replacing all those broken paving slabs, and brought back to the depot.

    and its free on freecycle.
    Get some gorm.
  • i take it you know its not all its cracked up to be? ( sorry i coulnt help myself)
  • We did our crazy paving ourselves using broken up paving slabs from a path we had taken up. Takes a lot of effort to get it level tho. Not worth the effort and now we regret doing it years later as it looks so dated and naff TBH. If I was you I'd lay down normal slabs or something else. Once crazy paving down hard to dig up I imagine as it needs to be concreted together which is just another expense whereas slabbing you just need sand to bed slabs down on.

Done correctly crazy paving will look good for years and is very hard wearing.
But its not a cheap alternative to slabs , the labour costs are high.
  • Oh yes labour costs certainly are high,,ours had my blood and sweat! It's really hard work to get even especially if the slabs are all different thicknesses as ours were. I must say though it saved us lots of money on getting rid of our old slabs and paying for a new patio. Recycling at it's best, we even got the sand by digging it from local scrubland naughty but free!
