McAfee SecurityCentre question

I recently bought a Dell PC that came with McAfee SecurityCentre and 15 months free subscriptions to the definitions service. I've used McAfee before and wasn't keen so I'm thinking of selling it. If I put it on eBay, will whoever buys it be able to use the 15 months free definitions? I haven't connected my new computer to the internet yet, so McAfee definitely hasn't registered. On the disk it says reinstallation cd. Hope somebody can help!!

I doubt it, it's preinstalled on the PC, so probably an OEM license tied to that PC. Mcafee is one of the better scanners, I'd keep it. Even if you sold it, you wouldn't get much money..Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
