I bought an ebook off ebay (police autions etc). I didn't read the auction properly and thought i was bidding on an actual mpbile phone - yes i am THAT daft!
Anyway, decided to relist - just to make my money back, the person i bought it off is still selling (along with other people). I bought for 12.99 but decided to sell for 10.99.
Any to cut to the chase my item has been removed but other people are still selling these. The reason i was given is that it was information i was selling and it is encouraging people to buy outwith ebay.
Any idea why only my item was removed??

Because it's against ebay rules! You should really just put it down to experience and not con someone else with the same auction.
A possible reason that yours was removed and not the other sellers' could be because you undercut their price and they have retaliated by reporting your item. Or maybe because the other seller generates more money for ebay, they seem to give a lot of chances to people like that before they eventually close accounts0 -
sorry to hear what happened to regarding the ebook.
We use to sell the same ebook a long while back, for nowhere near as much as you paid for it, about 99p to 1.99. We stopped selling it after a while as it caused more hassle than it was worth. We would get emails asking us when is the dvd, camcorder, ipod etc etc turning up?? Plus, if I recall rightly, it could have been pulled as according to ebay, you are taking people away from the ebay market. Ebooks are hard work to sell, unless you find a niche market, which I think we may have :T
Does the seller not offer a full refund? I know we do. Dont tell them that its not what you thought it was, say something like, the links dont open or when you open it, it reads rubbish etc etc. Sometimes its easier to give a full refund than get a negative feedback.
HTHI also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

I'm actually surprised that eBay would disallow the sale of such information. It could bring them more business rather than less, as some dealers would buy job lots of goods from such auctions to sell individually on eBay.0 -
I don,t understand anyone buying e-books, i ve a web link were you can see every e-book that is available for free. It always makes me laugh a little when anyone buys a book from ebay when you can get it for free, the buyer most proberly did.All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0

most ebooks break copyright and you can be fined for selling them.
the best laugh is when you see them being sold with resell rights, they have no resell rights when you are breaking copyright.Official DFW Nerd 071/£2 saver=£10

Most of the ebooks sold on eBay don't break copyright as the are written by an eBay seller who then includes full resale rights, but there are some that do, like Dan Brown's The Da vinci Code is being sold on eBay as an ebook.0
