Train - UK to Vienna, times and cost?

I'm sure it will be a lot more than flying but has anyone done this journey?Anyone know the times and cost??

I have looked on a few web sites but these give very expensive fares. Apparantly the best fares are only obtained from a human (not the Web).

Thank you

Try the web site seat61.com. There is load of info on there. Also Rail Europe is very helpful.

Seat61.com is brilliant. Tells you all about travelling Europe on the trains. In short, Eurostar to Paris (cheapest return normally £59) then overnight train to Vienna, at the moment you should be able to find a Special for 29 euro each way. Read up on Seat 61.
