TalkTalk warning - read if you are moving home!

I have been with TalkTalk since early 2007 and am moving home soon. I did a postcode check for the new address and saw that TalkTalk is available in that area - great.
I called TalkTalk to inform them that I am moving and was told that free broadband wasn't available in the new area and that I would have to pay an extra £15 a month if I still wanted broadband.
I then called TalkTalk back on the new customer line and said I would like to sign up. I was then told that free broadband IS available in the new area.
I called the homemover department back, and after much rambling I was told that I could have free broadband after all! I'm mad that as an exisiting customer I have been lied to and that TalkTalk tried to charge me £15 extra for no reason! It is also worrying that I was told, and I quote 'you will get different answers from different agents and different departments regarding this'.
If you are with TalkTalk and are moving, please make sure you check for yourself if their broadband is available in your area before you call and don't let them fob you off!!
