We are coming to the end of our fixed years lease and have had a letter from the letting agent today stating
"your existing tenancy agreement provides for the continuation of your tenancy on a month to month basis, until such a time as either party wishes to give the agreed notice of their intention to terminate the agreement i.e 2 month. All other terms and conditions remain the same"
My question is, this means if we are going on a month to month basis this is a periodic tenancy,of which i thought the amount of notice you had to give was 1 month ,not 2 months?

If you pay your rent monthly your notice period is one month, starting on the day you pay rent. Might be a typo, might be an attempt at an unfair clause. What does your tenancy agreement say?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
