credit card company sent only last three years

Hi, I've got as far as sending template letter + £10 cheque to credit card company and although I stressed CHARGES in letter, they have in fact sent all statements, but only for the period from 2006?! What do I do now? Do I just deal with this amount or do I need to write back to them with or without another £10 cheque and ask for further charges statements from 2003?

I await a reply in some urgency, so I can get this thing moving!

Yes write back and ask for the missing transaction lists ie from 2003 to 2006 (assuming you opened the account in 2003? if not then ask for transaction lists from 2001) no further £10 cheque needed, you are entitled to EVERYTHING under the data protection act request you already sent, give them 14 days or you'll report them to ICO.

With the statements you have, add up all the charges and get your spreadsheet started off while you wait for the rest, you can also write and ask for those charges back and estimate the previous years amounts - that usually kicks their bums into supplying transaction lists.
