DVD>mp3

Does any body know if it's possible to rip the DVD audio to mp3? I guess I could use Audacity but am looking for something more elegant

Besweet with its GUI front end is a very nice and flexible tool

It's not quite as easy as that. Best thing is to extract the AC3 track via something like DVD Decrypter and then convert that into an mp3 using (as mentioned above) BeSweet or similar. That'll give you one long track so you'll need to slice it up.

Nero should do it Or maybe one of the free trial Slysoft (CloneDVD, etc.) packages you can download from their site.

Thanks guys, I'll look into those suggestions later. The other nicety, I could do with is a DVD player that lets you loop between two selected points and slow the speed down without altering the pitch. Is there such a beast?
