Hi, when I right click on my mouse while selecting any of my folders, I get the usual menu appear as normal, but in the next box under the Open, Explore and Search box I get Sharing and Security and then there are options to create various different operations.... I want to get rid of these options.
These options are there also when I right click a mp3 file.
I remember deleting these options before, but can not recall how I did it.
Any ideas...

The best way is usually to find the program that put that option there and change it in that programs options
The option is usually something like 'integrate into shell' or 'add to context menu' (context menu being the official name for the right-click menu)0 -
Thanks sra you hit the nail on the head...LOL 'integrate into shell', I just unticked it and ...Taa Daa...gone....
Many Thanks0 -
You can also control what shows up in your 'New' part of the right-click menu by installing TweakUI
While you can control what appears in the Send To part of the menu by simply adding/removing shortcuts from the SendTo folder
C:\Documents and Settings\ <<windows username>> \SendTo
(Might have to show hidden files to see this folder)0 -
Thanks for the link sra, I did that earlier...sorted out the Send To shortcuts, its just the other bit that was bothering me, but you sorted that.
Just going to get Tweak UI now....Cheers...0
