Got a parking ticket fine after paying to park!

Something similar happened to me in Stratford upon Avon - I had taken my kit car there for a day out and having no windscreen on the vehicle I put the ticket on the tax disc holder which was down near the exhaust pipe at the front of the car. When I got back a huge sticky parking ticket had been stuck on my head restraint - it was a hot day and the goo had melted.
Its the same with motor bikes, so many wardens dont even think to look for the tax disc holder, which every bike has and is the most logical place to put your ticket. A lot of bikers have two tax disc holders side by side and often use the other one for parking tickets. I can accept that if you're not a biker you may not know that, but surely if you're a traffic warden it's your JOB to know that!! Man they make me angry!!0
