We have sold our house and are due to move in about 4 weeks time. How far do you go with cleaning, tidying etc the house before you leave ?
I have hired a cleaner to come and clean the house: vacuum, polish, skirting and sils, kitchen and bathroom.( she is coming to do the same at the house we are buying too) I will clean the cooker, mow the grass and remove house old waste and recycling.
Will i need to also fill nail / screw holes in the walls where i have removed pictures ? ( i wasnt planning on taking the srews out ) just wondering because if i have to fill the holes then their will be white blobs dotted round so then would need decorating ?
How far does everyone else go ?
Thanks Charlotte

I wouldn't waste time filling holes, just don't remove anything that isn't agreed or strictly necessary. It's more helpful to ensure you leave the place clean and any instructions for boiler/ white goods available.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I tend to leave picture hooks/screws in place as taking them out can make a big mess - the new occupier will probably want to redecorate anyhow. For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.0
