Cheers. Having said that I can't see how you redeem the voucher or even contact them for more info. Terrible website. Maybe just print out the page and use this?

    Hi,

I agree very strange set up. I guess that's all you can do is print the whole page and cut out the one you want!

My daughter and I want to got to Chester Zoo tomorrow we are in the West Mids so could pick up a booklet from the bank first. But I am wondering if the vouchers have any conditions on or if they are only for children (we are not!).

If anyone knows I'd be grateful for an answer cos it will save me a trip to the bank.

    Thanks alot.

I couldn't see how to either so when I went to join the queue at the zoo I explained this. A nice member of staff went in and got me a leaflet that had a voucher for a free child with an adult. I grabbed a few on the way out so if any MSE'rs want a leaflet or two just PM me and send me an SAE and I will be pleased to send them on!

Condition is one free child for a full price adult. Bank holidays excluded.
  • Hi,
We've been to Chester Zoo today and had a great time. The tip we had for discounts was to buy your tickets from the ticket shop at Cheshire Oaks shopping complex (approx 5 miles from Chester Zoo), this way you get £5.00 per person took off the admission price (£9.50 instead of £14.50), however, when we went yesterday they said they didn't have any tickets left because they were redesigning them and the new ones should be due in soon. We ended up using a 10% off voucher from 'The Great Days Out In Cheshire' booklet that we picked up from the same place. Also refuse to pay the "optional" 10% supplemental fee for the upkeep of the elephants! Hope this helps. Would be interested to know if the new tickets from Cheshire Oaks are as good value
  • I bought a voucher from ebay last week. It was a buy one adult ticket get another free, it cost £3. It was only a cut out from a magazine, so a saving of £11.50. (£14.50 less £3). They are worth looking out for! Just hope it doesnt rain now:rolleyes:

We picked up a booklet at our childs nursery by the national day nurseries association and inside they have a cut out voucher for two for the price of one for adults...good value as i think the adult price is about £16...the booklet is called nursery days..tel no 0207 9638070...they also have a £25 off voucher for legoland....we got the last one at our nursery as i would have taken a handfull.

If you are travelling there along the M56, call in at Chester motorway services( only 1 on the M56), they have a tourist info center, and there are discount vouchers for chester zoo and other places around Chester/north wales.

beware when you pay for your tickets at the zoo, they automaticly add a donation( elephant fund) to you ticket price, i think it is a £1-£1.50 ask them to remove it, if you want.
