Present for new dads

Hi there
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas of reasonably priced presents you could get for new dads? We're expecting our first baby any day now and I'd like to get something for my husband to say thanks for looking after me so well in pregnancy and also it's his birthday in a couple of weeks so need to sort out a birthday present too. I wanted to get something related to being a new dad. He doesn't wear jewellery and won't want anything particular over the top, it's more a nice token or gesture or something.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas?
Thanks

There are some great ideas on this website.0 -
There are lots of things you can get personalised - such as a wallet or watch. Studio catalouge have some ideas - I don't know how much they are - or a photo of the new baby with a message on a mug or mousemat, depending on his line of work?0

There was an advert for this company in Pregnancy and birth this month, I love the pint and half pint t-shirts and am thinking of one of those for hubby but they have loads of other gifts for Dad!

How about the Haynes baby manual (I thought this was very good myself.. written by a GP) -

or the Haynes 'How to be a great Dad' manual:

We got this baby manual for one of our friends:
The Baby Owner's Manual: Operating Instructions, Trouble-shooting Tips and Advice on First-year Maintenance
It is quite good, honestly. We had a good laugh just looking through with OH, and found it very interesting.
Actually, have a look at this, I would have got this one if it was available when I got the other one!!!

I bought a folding wooden photo frame for my friend's husband when my Godson was born. It had a packet of squidgy stuff (air drying clay or something) so that you could do a foot or hand imprint for the opposite side. He really loved it (& he's quite hard to please ) but enjoyed actually doing the footprint when the baby was a few weeks old. Good excuse for some male bonding! You can get the frames in lots of places, I think that I bought that one from Boots & it was about £25.0

re the pint and half pint tshirts, you can get them direct from 'twisted twee' google it! A saving of at least £10 (without the code)or £8 with it...0
