ipod touch

having a problem with eldest girls ipod touch.she hasnt used it for a few weeks and after charging shes hitting a problem.(im a hopeless techi so bear with me)the screen says she is connected to wifi on the bt hub in our home but when she trys to access internet after a few seconds it says no internet connection found?shes tried putting in the long number for wifi access again but makes no difference.only thing she sees different from before is (and its the hopless techi here again)some of the settings that had numbers or letters are just blank.does that mean anything to anyone?was looking at the warranty but all it gives is an address in cork no phone or email.hope you can help thanks.

    Reset the network settings for your iPod touch or iPhone

    In some cases you may need to reset the network settings for your device. To do this, choose Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

    also try turning the Hub off for a few minutes then back on

    there also seem to be problems with WEP , try upping the HUBs settings to WPA in the admin panel

    thanks tried that no luck.dunno if its any use but on the settings the ipa address is there the submask is there but the router is blank also dns and search domain.

    thanks browntoa.may help yourself in future as a techi.rang apple uk help.lady went through lots of do this do that and came up with the answer ip adress was wrong.its well over my head but she said sometimes when you let these things run very flat on start up again they return to a default address.why its not the right one I dont know but its sorted.again thanks for your help.:T:T
