I'm looking for a wireless laptop that gives very good/loud sound for replaying films/cds. around the £300/400 mark.

Sound is always a bottleneck in laptops, but you could just plug in a set of active speakers.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

What do you define as "good sound"? There is no cheap (i.e. under £500) laptop with even remotely decent speakers, and even if you want good SQ the onboard sound card is jut meh...Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0
