the motherboard bundle if i have it right will be fine for your needs and so will your ram ,sound card, psu and graphics card .hope fully nothing is surtain until you put i together
you will have to boot the xp disc of a dvd/cd drive to install xp from fresh
you will have to format your hdd using the xp disc that came with your pc ,
which basicly meen you have to delet the portion on C: and reinstall xp it will asked to format it before you install xp after you have deleted the portionthere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -
One thing to check with your existing power supply is that it has the 4-pin ATX lead with it (most newer, i.e. <3years, power supplies do have it) as you will need this for pretty much all new motherboards.
The RAM you have is fine and should work with the md, however, the mb only has 3 slots and comes with one stick of 512Mb, so you'll have to e-bay the other 256Mb stick you have.
Assuming that you have a full copy of XP and not an upgrade version, when you boot from the CD there's an option to delete the current partion and reformat the hard drive.- = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0 -
