I need to buy a new vacuum - was thinking of the Dyson DC25 animal one and Argos have it for £240 - has anyone got this or knows of a better deal? Or recommend another vacuum? Thanks in advance:T

I would definitely buy a Sebo, every time. Better vacuum and last longer.0 -
Not heard of a Sebo, do all the stores sell them? I haven't got a Dyson but have tried one and I didn't like it, I found it very heavy to push around and awkard. I've got a cheap Vax which is bagless. Got it in Tesco a couple of years ago when my ancient Electrolux seemed to stop picking up anything! Only thing wrong with my Vax is it doesn't have a brush attachment. Its got a long extension tube for doing stairs but if you are hoovering anything delicate then its quite sharp. Will have a search for Sebo just out of interest.0

John Lewis £225 with free delivery and free 5 year guarantee.
Check out the customer reviews on ciao or similar sites. We have dogs and cats and needed a quality vacuum, and boy have we got one!0 -
Totally agree wth all the Sebo fans. Far superior to a
Dyson. I've had a Dyson in the past and the Sebo is miles better.
I've got the Felix because I've mostly wooden floors (you get an additional attachment) but my Mum has the X4 and loves it too.
If you are interested in a sebo, their website has a "help me choose" guide.0 -
Thanks - hadn't heard of Sebo but will now have a look, very grateful for the tip-off0

We have a Sebo X4 and as others have said it is a good vacuum cleaner. However, I find it very heavy to push and most of the time my OH vacuums for me. It could be me being a weakling though!0

Sebo - destroys your carpet - Honestly - I would rather get Henry - the best vacuum cleaner around - cheap and reliable0
