Hole In The Wall Gas Fires

Hi, Hoping someone can help.
I'm looking to purchase a hole in the wall gas fire to put into my lounge chimney breast. This is currently bricked up but I will open it up and lintel it (it will be piped/connected up etc by corgi tradespeople)according to how large/deep the recess needs to be when i purchase the fire.

My first question is does anyone know roughly how much of a hole is required for these kind of fires or does it vary from model to model.

Also I've seen some reasonably priced ones on the net at fires r us but wondered if this is the cheapest place or is there anywhere else on the net etc that sells these at less than high street prices.
